CONTROLLING CORROSION

The number one problem we all seem to have on our boats is corrosion. Switches , fuse panels plugs, almost anything on a boat is a
potential victim of corrosion. One way to help fight corrosion is to rinse off your boat at the end of each day. Unfortunately, not all
parts of the boat can be rinsed off.

A new fluid thin film technology called "Corrosion X" has been specially designed to displace moisture, stop corrosion instantly and
provide protection against corrosion for up to one year, depending on exposure and circumstances, it may need to be applied more
often. They also claim the product is very good at preventing electrolysis between dissimilar metals.

Corrosion X works because it penetrates and neutralizes oxidation and a very important feature is that it displaces moisture. Too
many spray lubricants on the market that will actually leave a film over the moisture instead of displacing it. We have experienced,
many times, where a plug or connector no longer was making contact because of corrosion. A quick spray of the connection with
Corrosion X cured the problem.

With a dialectic of nearly 40KV, Corrosion X can be applied to switches, plugs, fuse panels, circuit boards and connectors to either
cure or prevent most corrosion problems caused by atmospheric conditions and direct contact with the elements. Corrosion X also is
recommended for use as a lubricant for bearings, davit sheaves, windlasses and most any other part needing lubrication. We have
found Corrosion X to be a very good corrosion inhibitor and we highly recommend it.
